Looking as good as the day it was first built, the immaculately restored Class 104 DMU vehicle M56182 stands at Holt Station on the North Norfolk Railway.

COMPLETION OF the comprehensive nine-year restoration of Class 104 diesel multiple unit DTCL (driving trailer composite lavatory) vehicle M56182 was celebrated on the North Norfolk Railway on September 9, when the immaculately restored vehicle re-entered service, some 36 years since last carrying passengers.
The launch day saw the Class 104 DTCL – which is currently paired with Class 101 DMBS (driving motor brake second) 51188 – operate a number of trips along the NNR route between Sheringham and Holt.
